Ricarda SUBIACO opening. When you mix Head Studio + RICARDA + CHADWICKS + SCENE + KARTEL + MOET + COMME + MARC JACOBS + L’OREAL PROFESSIONNEL + MISSONI + PERTH you get all sorts of wonderful tastes left in your mouth.

Last night the Head Studio team directed the hair for the RICARDA launch in Subiaco. A 300+ crowd witnessed a beautiful creation from the Albany based team. Keep an eye out for the hair “how too”, which will be posted by creative director Marie Cain very soon.

POP is a mani and pedi lounge that takes nail care to a new level. The level is designed underground
and you will escape into your own beauty haven. A “backstage” blow-dry menu is available as well as
your very own hidden room for extended indulgent hair treatments.

Brands such as BUTTER LONDON, BECCA, LULU ORGANICS, YS PARK, CHANEL as well as various
beautiful nic nac’s. Handmade scrubs, masks and even cremebath’s will make a stunning addition to
the beautiful basement location.

Rosemount Australia Fashion Week 2011 – LIMEDROP

Limedrop Rosemount Australian Fashion Week 11/12 Runway _ thursday 5th May 2011

Day 4 at RAFW 2011 saw Limedrop make their debut. Marie Cain, artistic director
of Head Studio and L’Oreal Professionnel Sesion Stylist team member took the reins
for hair for the tropical oasis inspired show.
As the steel drums played by the “wealthy pool side set”, the guests were indulged in a 50′s prep look.
Marie headed up a strong hair team with L’Oreal artists from around Australia who came together to produce a successful debut for the up and coming Australian label.

Australian Hairdressing Awards

Hair Expo Australia is the host of the nations most prestigious awards night. The awards
see Australia’s top hairdressers go head to head in a photographic/written competition.
Head Studio will be represented by Marie Cain (Artistic Director) at this years awards.
Marie was announced as a finalist in the “New Creative Force” category and was also part of
4 finalists which were selected from all categories for “photographic collection” of the year.

The awards would not have been possible without the amazing support from photographer

Make-up artist Hendra Wijaja and an amazing selection of local models.

The Head Studio team who devoted their time to the shoot and support through the salon
was remarkable and the shoot would not have been the same without them.

ELLERY Trunk Show

ELLERYLAND_Tuesday 29th March 2011. ELLERY launched the RTW S/S collection in the labels home town. The launch was held in a vacant space at 140William in the CBD. The hair was a “messy pony” which complimented the feel of the collection which had a edgy “surfy type hippie” feel to it.

L’Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival 2011

Head Studio’s Marie Cain spent the week as part of the L’Oreal Professionnel’s Session Stylist team at LMFF 2011. Marie was joined by Stylists Jessica Lay and Wendy Bunnett. The girls worked across all shows including the opening show in front of 4000 consumers. One of the favorites was the YEN magazine show which included Perth labels One fell swoop and Joveeba.

L’Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival 2011

L’Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival 2011 – Head Studio creative director Marie Cain as part of the L’Oreal Professionnel session stylist team heads up the HS team in Melbourne for the 2011 event. Marie directed this mornings designer awards show and will be on most shows through out the week. Other stylists Jessica Lay and Wendy Bunnett will join Marie and the rest of the team mid-week. The designer awards hair presented by VOGUE Australia included a hair brief that was a sleep pulled back ballet bun with no part. More entries and hair briefs will follow through out the week.
