Over the past few years, we’ve all developed an addiction to our straightening irons. But hair is now loosening up, with everything from soft waves to tight curls appearing in the pages of fashion magazines and on celebrities at red carpet events.
As leading hair stylists, we saw first hand the difficulty our clients – and even professional hair & make-up artists – were having trying to curl or wave their hair using irons. And traditional styling tools like hot rollers and curling tongs just didn’t cut it.
So the team embarked on a two-year mission to design a unique styling iron accessory that effortlessly creates gorgeous curls, volume and movement in minutes. The result is MYCURL.

Cloud Nine Irons and TheO by Cloud Nine have arrived at Head Studio.
Created by the original founders and inventors of Ghd, Cloud Nine irons have arrived in selected Aussie salons. Why the fuss? Born in 1985 in Sydney (Australia), Arj Selvam graduated from The University of Western Australia with degrees in Engineering and Commerce in 2008. Having always had a penchant for high-end, avant-garde fashion, Arj Selvam utilized his knowledge acquired from University as well as self-teachings to launch his eponymous label ARJ SELVAM in 2009. His concise debut summer collection “1.618″ featured superior fabrics and construction in a minimalist black and white colour palette. His highly anticipated second collection “Black Stump” was launched in June.

Each week we will showcase a super talented individual/business/website/group….basically anything that has caught our eye and we think, deserves some extra cred!
As an avid reader of street fashion blogs from over east and overseas, Perth lass Emma Bergmeier was sick of never seeing local/familiar faces and outfits in fashion photos. Armed with her camera, she has vowed to hit the streets of Perth to capture dwellers at their most fashionable.
Since its inception, Dropstitch has been featured in a host of magazines including Vogue UK, German Glamour, Cleo Australia, South Korea’s Cracker Your Wardrobe, Russia’s Khooligan Magazine, and Australia’s own Attitude Magazine.
