Over the past few years, we’ve all developed an addiction to our straightening irons. But hair is now loosening up, with everything from soft waves to tight curls appearing in the pages of fashion magazines and on celebrities at red carpet events.
As leading hair stylists, we saw first hand the difficulty our clients – and even professional hair & make-up artists – were having trying to curl or wave their hair using irons. And traditional styling tools like hot rollers and curling tongs just didn’t cut it.
So the team embarked on a two-year mission to design a unique styling iron accessory that effortlessly creates gorgeous curls, volume and movement in minutes. The result is MYCURL.
With the design patent registered and trademarked in over 35 countries, MYCURL is set to revolutionise the styling industry, one beautiful curl at a time!
MYCURL is now available at HEAD STUDIO……we have kept this amazing little tool under wraps for a couple of weeks while we had a play. Now they are available at all stores for $89.00

Cloud Nine Irons and TheO by Cloud Nine have arrived at Head Studio.
Created by the original founders and inventors of Ghd, Cloud Nine irons have arrived in selected Aussie salons. Why the fuss? Unlike most straighteners, Cloud Nine hair irons have an adjustable temperature gauge with six settings (so you can tailor the heat to suit your hair) and the patented black ceramic plates have an element of pearl sparkle – a secret ingredient that helps to add shine to hair as it styles. Plus, for absent-minded stylers, the hibernation mode ensures your iron turns off after 30 minutes if it’s not being used, so you don’t have to fret about burning the house down if you forget to flick the switch on your way out.
Kate Moss’ hair stylist James Brown inisists on them, not to mention some of best hair stylists in the world backstage at fashion shows internationally at Prada, Balenciaga, Louis Vuitton, Lanvin, YSL, Miu Miu, Chloe, Alberta Feritti, Sonia Rykiel and Versace. Not to mention carving out some Australian backstage space at Camilla and Marc, Friedrich Gray, Konstantina Mittas, Ksubi, Lui Hon and Terese Rawsthorne during Australian Fashion Week this May.
Cloud Nine Irons available in store for $270.00
With TheO, Cloud Nine has reinvented the idea of the styling roller. From the time it takes to heat a roller up, to the way you apply them. Here’s how you’ll benefit.
Speed.
There’s never been a faster heating process – simply pop a roller in the pod and it’ll be ready to use in less than four seconds.
Ease.
As the rollers heat from the core out, they’re hot in the hair, not in the hand, so you can work without the worry of discomfort.
Lightweight.
We’ve incorporated the very latest soft grip technology into the design, which means you don’t have to use pins to hold our rollers in place. And as the rollers are incredibly lightweight, they won’t drop.
Flexible.
TheO pod works with several sizes of rollers, including our extra large 60mm option, so you can create every style from the beautifully natural to utterly outrageous.
Control.
By heating just one roller at a time, you benefit from heat on demand, rather than having to heat numerous rollers at once, giving you greater creative control over where to take the individual style next.
Eco-friendly.
TheO uses seven times less power than traditional heated rollers* – so you’re not only doing your bit for style, you’re helping out the planet too.
TheO available in store for $369.00

The dawning of a barren landscape.
The ruffles in the leaves of the eucalyptus.
The dirt of an arid land.
The measure of emptiness.
The pursuit of an ideal tangent.

Since its inception, Dropstitch has been featured in a host of magazines including Vogue UK, German Glamour, Cleo Australia, South Korea’s Cracker Your Wardrobe, Russia’s Khooligan Magazine, and Australia’s own Attitude Magazine.
PS: Dropstitch is celebrating it’s 3rd birthday this Friday, July 16, 7pm – 10pm @ Pigeonhole: Shop 16, Bon Marche Arcade, 80 Barrack Street, Perth. Drop in, say hi and maybe grab a drink or two..
