RAFW 2011 LIMEDROP “get the look”

Thursday, May 19th, 2011 | Posted by:

The Messy Dancer

The official L’Oreal Professionnel RAFW11 Backstage Hair Report for LIMEDROP.

Day 4 Hair Director: Marie Cain : The collection was ‘soft and beautiful’. Marie’s inspiration was a juxtaposition between the sleek ballet dancer and the care-free girl who is in need of a good hair brush. ‘This year is all about the fusion of styles; just as we are seeing the clothing collections on the runway at RAFW commented Marie.

Achieve the look
1. Thoroughly mousse towel-dried hair from roots to ends with L’Orel Professionnel Volume Lift.
2. Blow-dry hair smooth from roots to ends with the parting from left to right.
3. Lightly spray crystal gloss at the roots and use a fine tooth comb to comb hair into a ponytail.
4. Mist the ponytail with L’Oreal Professionnel Playball Beach Fizz and add more texture by twisting the pony and pushing in an upwards direction to make it fly-away and fluffy.
5. Split the pony in half and wrap into a tight little knot and pin into place.
6 The other half of the hair left out of pony needs to be wrapped around to finish the look off.

NOTE: Its important for this hair to have soft fly-away texture: it needs to be wrapped softly.
